RIMCO sources mica from 30 mining sites across 4 regions in Madagascar and processes production through 2 centers in Antsirabe and Amboasary Atsimo before shipment.
Activity Locations
Mica are extracted from 30 mining sites in 4 regions: Ihorombe, Matsiatra Ambony, Anosy and Androy.
Selected mining sites mentioned for standard compliance include Andranoboaka, Sakasoa, Anivorano, Sakoamasy, Koroma, Morarano and Evango, with Mafelefo and Befasy developed with RMI.
Processing & Sorting Centers
RIMCO currently operates 2 processing and sorting centers located in Antsirabe and Amboasary Atsimo.
These centers are the focus of GWS compliance efforts and support production, sorting, monitoring and shipment preparation.
Supply Chain Mapping
RIMCO describes a structured supply chain connecting mining, processing and shipping.
The simplified mapping retained in the project documents is: Mine → Collectors → Exporters → Transf → Int. Brand, with IT tracking and batch reference marking from mine to container shipment.
